XXIII International Conference of the Society for Human Ecology

It is with great honor that I share with you the news that I have been invited by the Society for Human Ecology and by the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (FCSH - University of Lisbon, Portugal) to be one of the KeyNote speakers at the "XXIII International Conference Society for Human Ecology - 'Navigating complexity: human-environmental solutions for a challenging future'", which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from July 7th to 10th.

Lisbon is one of my very favorite cities in the world and I am really excited about being back there, seeing friends and talking about photography, human ecology and environmental education. It will definitely be a great event and I feel very humbled for being part of it, along with many environmentalists who are changing the world for better.

For those of you who are in Europe, it would be great to see you there! :)

Doing a Masters in Human Ecology and Contemporary Social Issues has really opened my mind to the complexity of the environmental crisis, and it has taught me that it is only through a holistic and systemic approach that we can overcome all the challenges we have ahead of us if we want to build a more sustainable society.

If you are interested in environmental and social issues, it will be a great opportunity to learn more about them and to network with people from all over the world who are using the principles of Human Ecology to deal with their own environmental/social challenges.

Hope to see you guys there!

Saludos!
