Life is still good here in Southern California.

Aleja and I have moved into our new apartment and it feels good to have our own place after so many years moving around the world. We obviously still want to travel and explore many parts of the world we haven't seen yet, but I can't deny it is good to know we now have a home to come back to.

I haven't photographed that much over the last month, I think I am going through one of those phases when we question the art we have been producing and wonder if we are going the "right way". I've been feeling a bit tired of digital photography and social media, and I am looking forward to receiving my film camera so I can start exploring with film and put myself into a slower process of photography.

I can't wait to see where this journey is gonna take me...

But for now, here are some of the pictures I made the other day at Torrey Pines State Reserve. It's a beautiful place really close to where we are living so we have been going there often...

Superbloom. There is currently an explosion of wild flowers in SoCal and it's been a real joy to drive around and see so many beautiful, colorful flowers...

I've also been trying to get back to my book. I've written 200 pages already but since I go to the US I seem to have lost my inspiration and rhythm...I know writing a book is a hard task so I guess I just have to force myself back into it and battle against the difficulties so I can finish it...

And I am also trying to readjust my professional path and get back into the Humanitarian sector with my Law degree and Masters in Human Ecology...I'm very excited about it and will share more about it here eventually...

I will be back here soon...I hope it's all going well with you! :)

And thanks again for being part of my journey...

Cheers!
