I just came back from a memorable Christmas trip to the Eastern Sierras (more about it soon!) and tomorrow we will be leaving for another few days off-the-grid in the Death Valley, so I just wanted to leave a quick message here wishing you all a wonderful 2018!!
This year was quite challenging for me in a few different ways, but I am actually thankful for all the difficulties I've faced because they have only made me stronger and they have also revealed even more clearly who/what is really important for me and what path I really want for my life.
Life is about finding a balance and we can only give the good times the value they deserve if we also go through some challenging moments. After all, summer is only summer because of the winter...
I must say thank you to my wonderful wife Alejandra for always being by my side and for always giving me doses of hope and optimism when I most needed them. I also say thank you to our four-legged son Otto for always bringing so much joy to our little family.
Here's to a 2018 full of love, compassion, joy and adventures!
I wish you all the very best and I thank you once more for being part of my journey as a photographer.
